![]() Jonathan Hogan Jonathan Hogan joined Rapattoni in November 2007. He oversees development and planning of Rapattoni's products and manages all departments involved in technological development, and serves as the technical liaison between Rapattoni and its customers. Jonathan most recently served as vice president of information technology and operations at the San Diego Association of Realtors® (SDAR). His accomplishments at SDAR include development of the association's public and internal websites; design, installation and maintenance of network infrastructure and security; and serving as a technical liaison to the MLS advisory group. Prior to joining SDAR in 1998, Jonathan Hogan was a pioneer in the field of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for architecture and engineering firms. While attending Arizona State University, he founded the school's Computer Aided Design program. Upon graduation, he also established the Computer Aided Design department at the University of Houston. Mr. Hogan later introduced CAD to Morris Architects, the fifth largest architecture firm in the United States, where he produced many successful projects using this technology. A pioneer in the field, Mr. Hogan established a CAD consulting firm before being hired by one of his clients, UDC International, as general manager. The largest computer graphics service bureau in the U.S., UDC International had suffered years of losses before Mr. Hogan helped shift the multi-million-dollar company to positive income after reorganizing the company and redesigning the workflow of its major projects. "Jonathan will be an instrumental part of our management team in helping to set our strategic technological direction," said Nick Rapattoni, president. His initial major tasks were developing SDAR's first network, and expanding its educational offerings. During the first few years, he also taught advanced courses to REALTORS. In 2001, Jonathan was promoted to Vice President. In 2005, he assumed the responsibilities over Operations. Major accomplishments at SDAR:
Prior to joining SDAR, Jonathan spent eight years as a successful REALTOR. He was a multi-million dollar producer. During college, Jonathan was a pioneer in the Computer-Aided Design field. He founded the Computer Aided Design program at Arizona State University. Upon graduation, he moved to Houston, and founded the Computer Aided Design department at the University of Houston. At the same time, he introduced computer-aided-design to Morris Architects, the fifth largest architecture firm in the United States, and produced many succesful projects using CAD. Later he formed Jonathan Hogan and Associates, a CAD consulting firm. One of his clients was UDC International, the largest computer graphics service bureau in the US. Jonathan became General Manager of UDC International (a $5 Million company), and delivered the company from years of losses to positive income after reorganizing the company and redesigning the workflow of its major projects. Jonathan has published many courses and curriculums over the years and lectured and conducted week-long workshops around the United States. |
